Terms of Use

These terms cover the readiness tools at architectyourexit.co.uk — the Exit Readiness Scorecard and the AI Pressure Test (the "Tools"). By using the Tools you agree to them. They are maintained by Positive Returns Limited, trading as Architect Your Exit.

What the Tools are — and aren't

The Tools are educational and indicative. They help an owner think about what a buyer looks for and roughly frame a conversation about value. They are not advice, not a valuation, and not a recommendation. Architect Your Exit is not regulated to give valuation or investment advice, and nothing in the Tools or their output is either. Any figures are broad illustrations only — do not rely on or act on them without proper professional advice specific to your business.

Our intellectual property

The Tools, and everything behind them, are the proprietary property of Positive Returns Limited and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. This includes, in particular:

• the Exit Readiness scoring methodology, its six assessment dimensions and their weightings;
• the probability calibration model that estimates likelihood of exit;
• the sector valuation benchmarks, multiples, size adjustments and range calculations;
• the questions, wording, structure, design and presentation of the Tools.

The scoring and valuation engine is a trade secret. It is deliberately kept on our servers and is never sent to your browser.

What you may not do

• Copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute the Tools or any substantial part of them.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to reconstruct the scoring or valuation methodology, including by probing, scraping, or automated interrogation of the Tools or their outputs, or by using AI to do so.
• Create a derivative or competing tool based on the methodology, questions, or benchmarks.
• Use the Tools other than for your own personal or internal business assessment.
• Remove or obscure any copyright, trade mark, or ownership notice.

Licensing

We license the methodology to other businesses and advisers who wish to use it. If you would like to use the Exit Readiness methodology in your own service or product, a licence is required and royalties apply. We're happy to discuss terms — get in touch at hello@architectyourexit.co.uk.

No warranty and liability

The Tools are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Positive Returns Limited is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the Tools or their output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact
